Landscape reading

GOALS :

  • Establish a diagnosis of the ingredients of its ecosystem, field resources, human resources.

  • Knowing how to adapt the different possible techniques to be implemented according to the terrain and its means.

  • Discover tools for reading a terrain (topography, water path, etc.)

Training program

  DAY 1- Know how to assess the potential of a place and extract useful information

  • 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m .: Theory

- Permaculture and Agroecology in a few words.
- Know how to make an inventory, identify its resources.
- Identify their needs, their wishes, align their time and energy

  deploy on his garden.
- Case study: the different stages of the realization of the pilot site of the Association

  Listin'Core  to Appietto.

  • 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m .: Practical work

- In the field: Manufacture of topography tools (Egyptian compass, water level).

- In a group of 2 people:

  • First group:

Learning topography tools, showing the level curves of your land to manage the circulation of runoff water.

  • Second group:

Introduction to geobiology, practice and operation of dowsing rods (find the water veins on your land).

- Update on teamwork, questions / answers.

  • 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m .: End of the day

- Debriefing, exchange.

DAY 2 - Practice reading the landscape

  • 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m .: Theory  

- Collection and processing of information.
- Make a diagnosis, put the information on a master plan, reveal the

  potential of its place.
- Conditioning, work in teams of 3 people on plan.
- Exchanges, discussions.

  • 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m .: Practical work

- Presentation of team work.

- Exchanges, discussions.

  • 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m .: End of the day

- Assessment of training, exchanges.
